(East River Mtn overlook)
- Rt52 south to Rocky Gap
- Rt61 west
(short detour sometimes on rt623 in Burkes Garden, va)
- Rt61west to Tazewell
- Rt16 south to Rt42 east to Rt621 (back road to
Big Walker Mtn)
- Back on Rt52 south to Wytheville (to eat)
- Back
up Rt52 north to Rt598north to Rt460 east
- Rt 19 north to Ski Barn

Route 2 Approx 350miles
Long Snowshoe ride via VA.
Meet at the Shady Spring mini storage
- Take Rt3 east through Hinton to Rt12 to
Rt122 to Rt219 north
- Back on rt3 east @ Union to Rt311 Sweet Springs
- Paint Bank Store (still on rt311 )
- Back track about 1/4 mile to Rt18 north (Covington) to Rt220 north
- Rt39 west (Marlinton stop
to eat sometimes) to Rt219 north
- Rt66 (stop at the rt66 sub shop to
eat sometimes )
- Up Snowshoe Mtn (stop to eat at Cheat Mtn Pizza
sometimes)
- Back to rt66 (you can reach rt66 from either side of
snowshoe)
- Rt219 north to Rt15 west
- Rt20 south all the way through
Rainelle-Meadow Bridge- Hinton
- Rt3 west back to Shady Spring
