If you're using Windows, it is easy to find out: 1) on the desktop, right-click on any blank area 2) left-click on 'Properties' 3) you're now looking at the 'Display Properties' box. Left-click on the 'Settings' tab 4) look at the lower left corner for 'Screen Resolution' I've included the most common ones. If your screen's resolution is not listed, select "Other" and tell us your secret in your post! It would help in the webpage design to know what screen resolution everyone is using. 600 by 480 pixels (Dude, you're almost blind!) 800 by 600 pixels 1024 by 768 pixels 1280 by 768 pixels 1280 by 960 pixels 1280 by 1024 pixels (okay, I get it, your's is bigger than mine!) Other (please post actual resolution) 600 by 480 pixels (Dude, you're almost blind!)   (0%) 800 by 600 pixels   (0%) 1024 by 768 pixels   (50%) 1280 by 768 pixels   (0%) 1280 by 960 pixels   (25%) 1280 by 1024 pixels (okay, I get it, your's is bigger than mine!)   (25%) Other (please post actual resolution)   (0%) Total votes: 4    Report

I use 1280 x 1024...not that my screen is huge, but it looks good at this resolution and I get a "bigger" desktop to move things around.  My monitor is a NEC Multsync LCD 1860NX. Heaven Bound aka. I complained loudly about it at first because you can't really change it without causing some distortion in either the size of clarity....but I've gotten used to it and really like it now.
