Thanks!
No matter where you go, there you are!
If my lawn mower only sounded like a VFR, I'd mow the grass a hell of a lot more.

Hey Jeff- If you can give me a number for Dave, I'll pass it on to my brother.
edit- OOPS! Just saw the number at the top of this thread. I assume that is the number for him at work.
Never mind.

a fairing on in 2004. i had a 1989 and it would do 105-110 with my big
butt..i would liketo buy it just for a comuter bike 60-70 mpg would
help out a lot...

I agree. Dave's bike would have been a good one. I guess he didn't have that much money to spend right now. He was buying outright and didn't want to borrow any money for a bike.
I also consider the GS500 to be a standard. I should have said that he likes more of a UJM type of bike. Kind of like the older looking GS500 and that style. The nighthawk will be a good bike for him. He plans on riding 2 up a lot and prefers an inline 4. Now we just need to get him out on a couple of rides. He will crap a brick when he sees how you guys hustle through the twisties.
I'll keep my ears open for someone interested in Dave's bike.
